Wisdom & Light saw the Golden Square Car Park roof deck & rooftop annex transformed into a sanctuary of art and contemplation. The rooftop becoming a lush Lotus Flower Sanctuary with vegetarian dining experience featuring a menu handcrafted by renowned Melbourne Chef Princess Uy. The indoor annex space taking on a new life as an art gallery featuring an exhibition of influential Buddhist monk, Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s world-famous ‘One-Stroke-Calligraphy’, leading the visitor into a 360 degree fully immersive cinema space featuring a work commissioned from renowned digital artists, Artists in Motion. This 20-minute highly artistic animation capturing the extraordinary life story of Venerable Master Hsing Yun who from humble beginnings went on to found one of the world’s largest Buddhist organisations, Fo Guang Shan.

This world-premiere exhibition ran for 30 days with over 11,000 tickets sold and has since gone on to successful seasons in Taiwan, Sydney and Shanghai.
